At multiple points in the year discussed below, we will schedule an appointment with you so that we have access to your water source and irrigation timer (in most cases these are located within the house).

At the beginning of every spring, we will turn on the water to the sprinkler system, go through each watering zone of the system to make sure the sprinklers and electric valves are operating properly and set up the program for the automatic timer. Because we understand the expense and shortage of water especially during drought periods, we make sure that each sprinkler head is covering the appropriate areas for the correct amount of time and frequency. In addition when we program the irrigation timer, we check the rain sensor and test that it operates properly and has the proper settings.

During mid-summer, we like to again go through all zones checking each sprinkler head, verify programming on irrigation timer and re-test the rain sensor. In the fall, our goal is to make sure that all water is removed from the sprinkler system (to prevent freezing), the irrigation timer is shut off and battery backup has been disconnected. Water is removed from your irrigation system using compressed air.

Existing System Upgrades

Upgrades consist of anything from installing additional zones throughout your property, modifying existing irrigation for new lawn areas/shrubs/gardens or changes to your property. In addition, we may consider changes to the type of sprinkler heads used or changes in the system to more efficient products.

Do it Yourself

For the ambitious and/or the cost conscious homeowner, we will gladly layout the system per your needs, supply all the materials and install all of the piping in the ground with a vibratory plow (not a messy trencher). Another option is for you to provide the materials (except for piping) and we will install the piping in the ground. Because we are using our machines, we need to provide the piping in order for the warranty to be valid. There are numerous options if you want to help.
